[ARCHIVED] WFR responds to 2 vehicle accident

A pick up had struck the rear of a car that was stopped at the red light. The car was pushed quite a distance and stopped on the lawn of Dakota Bank. The pick up came to a stop on Hwy 212.

WFR ambulance transported the driver of the car to PLH. The driver of the pick up was arrested and charged with several offenses including DWI. There was a lot of debris scattered for half of a block. Crews cleaned up the scene included oil and antifreeze and were on scene for almost 1.5 hrs.

Please remember to always wear your selt belt at all times when driving.
