[ARCHIVED] WFR to Host an Open House

To kick off Fire Prevention Week, Watertown Fire Rescue will be hosting a hot dog feed Friday, 10/16/15 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the downtown Fire Station at 129 1st Ave NW.

WFR will have the Children's Safety House set up and will be giving tours of it, showing how it works and teaching children some basic fire safety.

WFR is working in conjunction with Reliabank, Coca Cola and Fisher Rounds and Associates. There will be a hot dog feed, sponsored by Reliabank, refreshments provided by Coca Cola, and fire helmets for the kids donated by Fisher Rounds and Associates. We thank them all for their support.

The event will be a chance to bring your children down and take them through our Children's Safety House. It will cap off a busy couple of weeks of fire prevention which with the staff at WFR has been active. The fire trucks and ambulances will all be on display and WFR personnel can answer any questions you may have about what we do!

So mark your calendars for the Hot Dog Feed Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., to celebrate Fire Prevention Week. This event is open to all of the public, and you don't have to have the kids along if you just want to come down and have a Hot Dog and a Coke!

See you Friday at the downtown Fire Station, 129 1st Ave NW!!
