The Watertown Police Department has received numerous complaints of ATVs being operated in the ditches and right of ways within the city limits. We would like to remind people that it is a City Ordinance violation to operate an ATV in the roadside ditches or right of ways within the city limits. This includes all highways within the city. The fine for a violation of the ordinance is $114.00.
