Watertown Fire Rescue was called to the 925 10th St NW, at 1:36 a.m. for a fire. Upon arrival at the north sale barn fire was extending though the roof of the sale ring and through approximately 80% of the sale barn main alley.
WFR set up a defensive attack and used 2 Fire Engines and 1 Ladder truck to control the blaze. The building is considered a total loss, no one was injured in the fire and no animals were in the building at the time of the fire.
Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind the public never drive over a fire hose and please stay back out of the way while firefighting operations are going on.
