As you may be aware, we carried out several updates to the system last weekend. Shortly after the updates were installed, we noticed irregularities in the service's performance.
Due to these irregularities, the system is not down, but it is currently not performing at a level of consistency we deem satisfactory. In some instances, the speed of the service slows down below acceptable minimums, while in other instances it performs within the normal range. This fluctuation in speed causes the Media Manager and mobile apps to time out during basic functions such as logging in or downloading an eAudiobook.
We have put all available resources to work on solving this problem as quickly as possible. We saw some improvement this morning, but the system is still not up to acceptable levels in consistency and speed. We will continue to work to resolve this performance issue and will update you as we make progress.
