The Watertown Street Department will begin this year’s street chip seal program on Monday, June 29th in various locations around town. The work will involve sweeping the surface, then applying a layer of emulsified asphalt, followed by rock chips. Residences and businesses will remain accessible most of the time. As with any road construction project, motorists should exercise caution, observing all traffic control devices in and around the construction areas. The attached map shows the proposed areas to be chip sealed this summer.
