[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Rescue Responded to a basement fire on May 18, 2015

Watertown Fire Rescue Responded to a basement fire on May 18, 2015 at Approximately 1915. Upon arrival on scene smoke was coming from the structure. Crews made an interior attack in the basement and quickly extinguished the fire. The fire caused heavy smoke damage in the basement. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical malfunction of a dehumidifier. The house sustained approximately $5000 dollars in damage. Watertown Police Department assisted the Fire Department with traffic control.
