On March 23, 2024 at 2:00 am, Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched for a vehicle on fire at the intersection of 9th Ave and 6th St NE, Watertown, SD. The responding fire crew arrived on scene and found a Ford Ranger pickup truck in the intersection with the cab area fully involved with fire. The driver was outside of the vehicle upon arrival. One handline was deployed to extinguish the fire with approximately 150 gallons of water. The fire crew was on scene for approximately 35 minutes. Watertown Police Department was also at the scene.
