On Thursday, June 27th 2013 the Watertown Police Department conducted a series of Alcohol
Compliance Checks in an effort to reduce the commercial availability of alcohol to minors.

Six establishments were checked and none of those six sold to the underage buyer.

The business’ that successfully passed the compliance check include:
Cowboy Liquor Stores – 500 9th Avenue SE
Goldmine Casino – 225 West Kemp Avenue
Powells Casino – 913 3rd Avenue NW
21 and Over Casino – 4 10th Street NW
The Liquor Store – 1330 9th Avenue SW
Discount Liquors – 125 9th Avenue SE

The Watertown Police Department would like to thank these establishments for ensuring
that the laws regarding the sales of beer and alcoholic beverages are being followed.
