[ARCHIVED] WFR Responds to Motor Vehicle Accident

WFR responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of B Ave and 18th Street NE at approximately 0930 hours. A small sedan was T-boned on the driver’s side by a Ford Ranger. Engine 4 and Medic 3 responded to the scene, with the Watertown Police Department assisting with traffic control and extrication.

The Engine 4 crew utilized extrication tools to remove the driver’s side door. The patient was then extricated from the vehicle, and patient care was transferred to Medic 3. One adult female was transported to PLH with serious but non–life-threatening injuries. Performance towing assisted in vehicle removal.  Street and Utilities notified of a street sign that was down and a light pole that was on the boulevard and energized.
