On the evening of November 20th, Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a single-vehicle rollover around the 700 block of South Lake Drive involving multiple occupants.
WFR EMS units arrived first and reported that all occupants had exited the vehicle before emergency crews’ arrival. Both patients were transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital for further evaluation with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Engine 4 arrived to find a sedan upside-down in the west ditch with significant front-end damage and all airbags deployed. Fire personnel provided scene lighting, assisted law enforcement, and helped clear the debris. Watertown Police Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and Performance Towing also assisted on the scene. WFR crews remained on site until cleanup and towing operations were complete.
