At approximately 0300 hours this morning, Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck a building at 1425 1st Ave. NE.

Upon arrival, first responders found that a four door, sedan style vehicle had collided with the north side of a two story multifamily structure. The impact caused minor structural intrusion into the building.

Fire crews quickly assessed the scene to ensure there were no immediate hazards such as fuel leaks or electrical concerns. No serious injuries were reported. The occupants of the vehicle were evaluated on scene by emergency medical personnel, and the building was checked for structural stability.  Fire Crews were on scene for just over an hour stabilizing the wall of impact and weatherproofing area.

The building was left with the property management firm for further inspection and repair.
