[ARCHIVED] Attempted Robbery

On 01/11/15 at approximately 1 a.m. an attempted robbery occurred at the 212 Casino in Watertown. A male suspect entered the casino and demanded money. Several patrons in the casino approached the suspect, who then fled from the casino on foot. The suspect did not display a weapon but did have his hands in the area of his waistband while he was inside the casino.

The suspect is described as a Native American or Hispanic male approximately in his twenties, slender/medium build, and approximately 5’ 10” – 6’ tall. The male was wearing a white/ blue plaid hooded zip-up jacket/ sweatshirt and blue jeans, with a dark blue bandana coving the lower portion of his face.

A reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

The Watertown Police Department would like to emphasize to the public that if you ever find yourself
in a situation involving a potentially dangerous person, please strive to be a good witness without putting yourself in harm’s way.
