An adult female driver was transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital with unknown injuries/medical issues. She is being transported to the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls for care.

The accident investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision. Preliminary information indicates that a 1997 Ford F150 pickup truck driven by Mr. Andrew Flisrand was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of HWY 212. A 2014 Ford F150 driven by Mr. James Lewis Jr was traveling eastbound in the inside lane next to Mr. Flisrand. A 2006 Dodge Magnum entered the trucks’ lane of travel. The 2014 Ford F150 and the Dodge Magnum received disabling damage and were towed from the scene. The investigation is ongoing. The name of the adult female driver is being withheld pending family notification.
