On October 13, 2025, at 11:45am Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a 2 vehicle car accident at 1st Avenue N and Broadway Street. On arrival crews found 2 vehicles with heavy front end damage sitting disabled in the roadway. WFR crews assessed and transported two patients to Prairie Lakes Hospital for further evaluation. Fire crews remained on scene to clean up debris and fluids in the roadway. Watertown Fire Rescue was assisted on scene by Watertown Police Department and Active Towing.
