On Wednesday, October 2nd, 2025 at 2:00pm, Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to the Watertown High School parking lot for a car on fire. Responding units found a black, 4-door car with flames coming from the engine compartment in the Watertown High School's west parking lot on the corner of Arrow Ave and 9th St NE. WFR's Engine 4 crew advanced a hose line to knock the fire down and keep it from spreading into adjacent vehicles. The fire was quickly extinguished. No other vehicles were damaged in the incident. No injuries were reported. Watertown Police Department were also on scene assisting.
