[ARCHIVED] Re-Striping of Roadways

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Weather permitting; on Monday, August 28^th, 2023, a contractor for the City of Watertown will be restriping the following roadways:

South Lake Drive (from The Prop to Cattail Crossing Golf Course)
42^nd Street NW (from South Lake Drive to Golf Course Road)
Golf Course Road (from South Lake Drive to 4^th Avenue SW)
19^th Street E. (from Highway 212 to 14^th Avenue NE)
2^nd Street NW (from 16^th Avenue N. to 20^th Avenue N.)
14^th Avenue N. (from west of 4^th Street W. by Jesus Church to 19^th Street NE)

During this process, 14^th Avenue N. striping will be redesigned to include a center left turn lane from west of 4^th Street W. by the Jesus Church to 19^th Street E. Due to the addition of a center left turn lane, we ask that drivers be aware of the changes.

Drivers, please be aware that while cones are in place, the paint remains wet. We ask that you refrain from driving through the wet paint. If you have any questions, contact the Watertown Street Division at 605-882-6207.
