Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a single vehicle fire in the McDonald's parking lot with one engine and an ambulance at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday November 14th. On scene, crews discovered a single vehicle with it's engine compartment fully engulfed in flames, and was spreading into the passenger compartment. Crews quickly deployed a handline to extinguish the fire. Other vehicles and the McDonald's building were not threatened by the fire and sustained zero damage. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries from the incident. Responding crews were also unharmed during the incident. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
