On October 29th, 2014, at approximately 1 PM, Watertown Police and Ambulance personnel responded to a report of a motor vehicle and pedestrian accident in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.

Upon arriving on scene, a juvenile male was located in the middle of the road with head trauma. The juvenile male was transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital and subsequently air lifted to Sioux Falls for further care. The juvenile male sustained serious non-life threatening injuries.

After investigation, it was discovered the juvenile male had fallen from a motor vehicle traveling on the roadway. A citation was issued for reckless driving to the juvenile driver of the motor vehicle.
