On October 26th, 2014, Watertown Police Department responded to a report of an attempted theft in the 1500 block of 4th Ave NW, Watertown, SD.

The victim, observed a male suspect steal a tool from the back of his truck. The victim confronted the suspect and a physical altercation ensued. The suspect brandished a knife and assaulted the victim. The suspect fled the scene eastbound toward the intersection of Hwy 20 and 3rd Ave NW.

The male suspect was described as approximately 5’10”, slender build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jean shorts and black work boots.
