[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Responds to Injury Accident

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to an Injury Accident near Diamond Ball Park at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 7th Street Southeast. Watertown Fire Rescue, Watertown Police, and Crocker's responded to the call. On scene, Medic crews assessed and treated two patients with one being transported by WFR Ambulance to Prairie Lakes Hospital Emergency Room, and the other the Patient opting to go to Prairie Lakes Hospital by private vehicle. Both patients sustained non-life threatening injuries. None of the first responders were injured during this incident.

Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind all drivers to use extra caution at "uncontrolled" intersections. Remember to reduce your speed and be prepared to stop, even when no stop sign is present. This is just one of many tactics used in order to drive more defensively that will help you arrive safely at your destination.
