[ARCHIVED] WFR Responds to Storm Damage

At approximately 10:15 PM on 06/20/2022 WFR units responded multiple calls after a severe storm traveled through the areas of the golf course and Lake Kampeska.  Units responded to the area of 800 block of 43rd St NW for a home and out building that had damage to the roof.  Crews assessed the structures for any further structural damage.  Simultaneously, another WFR unit was called to the area of 132 North Lake Drive for powerlines down and arcing across Highway 20.  Both responding units experienced multiple tree limbs on the roadway while traveling to the calls.  There were no injuries reported.

Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind you that during a severe storm, seek shelter inside.  Go to the basement or a room with out windows on the lowest level of your home and wait for the storm to pass.
