At 415am Saturday morning WFR was dispatched to a structure fire at 45939 US Hwy 212.  Upon arrival fire crews found a hot tub that had started on fire and had spread to the exterior of the home.  The home owner had extinguished most of the fire preventing further damage.  WFR crews examined the home interior to ensure there was no extension into the house.  Crews spent about 45 minutes on scene searching for hot spots on the exterior of the home.  Working smoke detectors played a role in alerting the home occupants, allowing them to extinguish the fire and remain safe.  The home did receive some damage, but no estimates were available.  No injuries were reported.
