Watertown Fire Rescue Responded to a Vehicle Fire at Watertown Ford's Value Lot

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire at Watertown Ford's Value Lot late Monday morning. Upon arrival, WFR Eng 3 crew found a 4 door light duty passenger vehicle with the engine compartment completely engulfed. Vehicle was a mid 90's Buick Park Avenue, with a value of approximately $2,000. The fire originated in the engine compartment and is believed to have been caused by a leaking fuel line. No injuries reported. The vehicle was approximately 10 feet from a small building, but it did not sustain any damage.

Watertown Fire Rescue would like to remind you to keep your vehicle maintained and have it serviced by a licensed technician. Winter driving conditions are coming soon and can be very hard on a vehicle.
