The Watertown Police Department is asking that citizens be reminded of  the ticketing process for snow removal. The information is listed below.

Streets are plowed on: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday

Avenues are plowed on: Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday

Please assist the Watertown Street Division by not parking on the roadways during the time that roadway is scheduled to be plowed. Parking on streets, avenues, or snow routes during the days they are scheduled to be plowed will result in a $40 fine (fine doubles to $80 if not paid in 3 days). There is also a fine for blowing snow into the street from a driveway or sidewalk. Officers will do same day ticketing of vehicles blocking the snowplows from clearing the City’s streets and avenues. If the obstructing vehicles remain on the street longer than 24 hours after being plowed around, it will be towed at the expense of the owner.
