On August 21st, 2014, at approximately 5 AM, Watertown Police and Watertown Fire Rescue
responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in the 2100 block of 9th Ave SE.

A pickup truck travelling westbound collided with a motorcycle travelling eastbound in the 2100 block of 9th Ave SE. The pickup truck was making a southbound turn onto the service road. The motorcyclist was killed as a result of the crash.

The crash is under investigation by the Watertown Police Department.

Mr. Richard Olson, Age 53, of Watertown, SD has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in the two vehicle crash early this morning.
