[ARCHIVED] Watertown Area COVID-19 Task Force makes masks available free to the public

To help slow the spread of COVID-19, the Watertown Area COVID-19 Task Force is making cloth masks available to the public free of charge at several city buildings.  The mask distribution will begin today, Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.  These masks were some of the homemade masks collected early on in the pandemic. The masks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and available as long as supplies last.      

The locations and days, and times of the mask distribution are as follows: 

 Watertown Police Department:  128 N. Maple St.:  24 hours  

 Watertown Fire Rescue:  129 1st Ave. NW:  Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

 Watertown Parks and Recreation Fieldhouse:  1900 Kemp Ave. W:  Monday – Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 

 Watertown Regional Library:  160 6th St. NE:  Monday – Thursday 9:30 am to 9 pm, Friday 9:30 am to 6 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm. 

 Watertown Regional Airport: 2416 Boeing Ave. – Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm.   

 Bramble Park Zoo:  800 10th St. NW – 10 am to 4 pm
