On 10/22/2020, at approximately 9:38 am, the Watertown Police Department responded to a report of drug activity occurring in the 10 block of 3rd Avenue NE. Officers made contact with occupants inside a residence and observed methamphetamine paraphernalia.

A search warrant was granted for the residence and executed by the Watertown Police Department and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation. During the search, officers located user amounts of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Paul Gulbrandson (59 years old from Watertown) was charged with possession of a controlled substance, ingesting a controlled substance, and maintaining a place where drugs are kept, sold, or used.

Joshua Anderson (26 years old from Watertown), Austin Mendenhall (27 years old from Watertown), and Lucas Fiddler (32 years old from Watertown) were charged with possession of a controlled substance, ingesting a controlled substance, and inhabiting a room knowing drugs are kept or used there.

Desiree Kerlee (20 years old from Watertown) and Kira Witty (21 years old from Watertown) were charged with inhabiting a room know drugs are kept or used there. Kira was also served with an outstanding warrant.
