Over the last 30 days, the Watertown Police Department has fielded several reports of catalytic converters cut off pickups and large trucks. All vehicles were parked in out of the way areas that were not well lit. It is suspected the individual or individuals involved used a battery-operated reciprocating saw to cut these catalytic converters from the vehicles exhaust system quickly. A cash reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of these perpetrators.
