Beginning this week, the Watertown Area Task Force will start holding our coronavirus briefings on an as-needed basis. As of today, there are no media briefings currently scheduled. We will continue to update our Watertown Covid-19 Facebook page regularly.
We want to remind everyone Covid-19 is still spreading. People continue to become ill and are at risk of being hospitalized from this disease. Therefore, we ask the public to stay vigilant and continue to practice prevention activities. This includes social distancing, wearing a mask in public when appropriate, washing your hands frequently, and staying home when sick. We all must do our part to protect ourselves and the community from COVID-19.
