On 07/28/2014 at about 01:18 AM the Police Department received a call in burglary alarm for the Mint Casino.

On 07/28/2014 at about 01:18 AM the Police Department received a call in burglary alarm for the Mint Casino. Officers arrived and discovered an exterior door had been forced open to gain access to the building. The suspects had fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen and an extensive amount of damage was caused to a lottery machine and the exterior door.

A suspicious vehicle was located in the area and subsequently stopped for a traffic violation. Through the course of the investigation the three occupants were identified as the suspects and arrested for the above charges. All three are being held on a $50,000.00 Cash or Surety bond. The investigation is ongoing.
