Watertown Fire Rescue in partnership with Goodwin Fire Department worked for two and a half hours to contain and extinguish a grass fire. At 10:45 pm Crews responded to the area of 466th Ave and 175th Street where a large area of grass and trees were actively burning, quickly spreading north. Brush 2, Brush 3 and Tender 1 from Watertown Fire Rescue worked alongside Goodwin Fire Department to contain the fire to approximately three acres. The origin of the fire is unknown.
