[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Rescue responds to an early morning vehicle fire


On Saturday September 19th at 302 am Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to the report of a vehicle on fire near the intersection of 4th Street and 4th Avenue Northeast. Upon arriving on scene Watertown Fire Rescue found a small extended cab pickup with smoke coming from the passenger compartment. Watertown Fire Rescue gained access to the passenger compartment of the pickup and extinguished a fire that was burning on the back seat. Cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire crews remained on scene for about 20 minutes. Watertown Fire Rescue was assisted on scene by the Watertown Police Department.
