For Immediate Release

Weather permitting, on Friday morning, June 19^th, 2020 from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m., the Watertown Street Division will be sweeping the roadways in the Downtown Business District. This will include Kemp Ave., 1^st Ave. N., & 1^St Ave. S. from Highway 81 to 3^rd St. W.

This will also include the roadways directly adjacent to the Codington County Courthouse (Broadway St. from 1^st Ave. S. to 2^nd Ave. S., 2^nd Ave. S. from Broadway St. to Maple St., & Maple St. from 2^nd Ave. S. to 1^st Ave. S.).

SAVE THE DATE

The upcoming scheduled sweeping dates for 2020 in the Downtown Business District are as follows:

• July 10^th
• July 24^th
• August 7^th
• August 21^st
• September 4^th
• September 18^th
• October 2^nd

Sweeping will occur from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. on the dates listed above. Unexpected emergencies or adverse weather may cause delay in sweeping. In such an event, sweeping will commence on the following scheduled sweeping date.

Please do not park any vehicles on the roadways listed above during this aforementioned time frame. There are several public parking lots within the Downtown Business District for your use. If you have any questions, please contact the Watertown Street Division at 882-6207.
