At 3:40 pm Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a Residential Structure Fire at 217 5th Ave SW, Upon arrive crews were met by family that was all out of the home but reported a pet still remained on the second floor, fire crews confined and extinguished the fire that started in the main floor kitchen and removed the pet from the home unharmed. At this time it appears that the fire may have started in a refrigerator.
