The Street Department will begin Phase I of this year’s proposed street milling and overlay program on Tuesday, July 8, in various locations around town. This will involve grinding off the top layer of the road surface, and re-applying a new layer of asphalt. Residences and businesses will remain accessible most of the time. Drivers are asked to exercise caution and to observe all traffic control devices around the construction areas.
