Late yesterday Afternoon, Watertown Fire Rescue Responded to a small grass fire that started as a controlled burn.  The grass fire started out as a controlled burn in a garbage pit and slowly spread to the outlying area of the pit.  The fire burned approximately 30 feet from the pit before WFR crews extinguished the fire.  The burn pit was also extinguished before WFR cleared scene.  There were no losses from this fire.
