[ARCHIVED] Building Fire

Watertown Fire Rescue was called to 46293 US Hwy 212 for a controlled burn that had gotten out of control. On scene WFR found a building that was pushed in and had been lite by the homeowner. Due to the proximity of outlaying buildings and home the only course of action was to put the fire out. WFR had 2 engines, 1 tender, and 6 personnel. They also received mutual aid from Goodwin Fire Department who also had a 1 fire engine, 1 Tender, and 2 brush trucks.
Watertown Fire would strongly recommends that all controlled burns be called in before lighting. Also please check your surroundings and current and future weather conditions before burning.
