Public Service Announcement
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the following City Events are tentatively postponed:
- Free residential landfill disposal
- 4th Avenue S.W. Spring Yard Waste Site
- City Wide Clean-up
- Household Hazardous Waste Event
Although these events are tentatively postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to reschedule these community events for a later date.
Public Service Announcements regarding the rescheduling of these events will be available to the public on the City’s website at www.watertownsd.us and through the local news media as we continue to assess the impact of the pandemic/virus on these events.
The Watertown Regional Landfill remains open for business, Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. At this time, the public is prohibited from entering Landfill buildings to maintain social distancing.
