During the weeks of December 23rd and December 30th, Watertown residents may use green yard waste containers for disposal of extra waste generated during the Christmas season.
Please place your yard waste container at the curb with your blue garbage container the night before or by 5 AM on your normal collection day. Ensure there is at least 4 feet of space between the containers.
An automated truck will empty these containers, so it is important to place all waste inside the container. Do not overfill or pack the container, as items may become lodged, preventing it from emptying properly. Waste should not be placed above or around the container.
This special use of the green yard waste containers is available only during the weeks of December 23rd and December 30th, 2024.
PLEASE NOTE: After Thursday, January 2nd, the green yard waste containers will no longer be available for waste collection.
