Watertown, SD – November 22, 2024 – At approximately 11:30 AM, Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 5th Street and Kemp Avenue SE. The incident involved a passenger car and a pickup truck.
Upon arrival, WFR personnel found the car with significant front-end damage, and the pickup truck sustained damage to the driver's side rear panel. The driver of the car was evaluated at the scene by WFR Paramedic's and was not transported to the hospital. The driver of the pickup did not require medical attention, and no other injuries were reported.
The Watertown Police Department was on scene to assist with traffic control and investigation, while Active Towing was called to remove the vehicles.
