On November 2nd just after 1:00 AM WFR responded to the report of a car that had collided into a residence in the 1900 block of 5th St. SE. WFR responded with a Battalion Chief rig, one engine, an ambulance, and a brush truck. Once on scene it was reported that no residents of the home were injured and the vehicle that had run into the house had driven off. WFR crews ensured that the house was structurally sound and monitored the residence for any natural gas. WFR crews were able to seal the structure up to protect it from the elements, and crews were on scene for about an hour and a half. WFR was assisted on scene by WPD and Watertown Municipal Utilities.
