On Thursday October, 31 WFR responded to the 1800 block of 5th St SE for a two vehicle accident with injuries. Both vehicles sustained front end damage and were towed from the scene. WFR transported both drivers to Prairie Lakes Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. WPD and WFR shut down both south bound lanes during the incident. Lanes were opened back up after debris and vehicles were removed by the tow service. WFR responded with two ambulances and and one fire truck. WFR remained on scene for 45 minutes.
