HIGHWAY 212 TRAFFIC TO BE SLOWED AT 1:00pm TODAY FOR HESCO BASKET INSTALLATION.

At approximately 1:00pm today the South Dakota Department of Transportation will be closing two westbound traffic lanes on U.S. Highway 212. This lane closure will take place in the 200 block of West 212 and will last approximately 4 hours for the installation of Hesco baskets along the Big Sioux River. The DOT will alternate eastbound and westbound through the use of
flaggers. Highway 212 is not going to be closed, however motorists are encouraged to find an alternative route during this time. At the completion of the Hesco Basket installation Highway 212 will re-open.
