The former Harbor Bar fire has been officially ruled as undetermined. After Investigators from the Watertown Fire Rescue, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, SD Fire Marshal Office, and the Insurance company met, they determined the building unsafe for investigation. Due to the possible structural integrity of the building investigators were unable to gain access into the building to narrow the investigation down to a cause or area of origin.  Investigators were able to agree the fire had most likely started in the basement and burned for several hours before being discovered. At this time the fire has been officially ruled "Undetermined". The structure is considered a total loss.- Watertown Fire Rescue Investigation Unit.
