[ARCHIVED] Watertown Fire Rescue responds to 2 separate 2 vehicle accident

Watertown Fire Rescue responded to 2 separate 2 vehicle accidents on Monday February 4th. The first accident occurred at 8:09 am at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Airport Dr.  A half ton Ford pickup was struck in the right rear quarter by a truck hauling propane. No fluids or propane was leaking from either vehicle and only minor injuries were reported. The second accident occurred at 3:05 pm in the 1300 block of 9th Ave SW. On scene crews found a three quarter ton Chevy pickup had struck a Dodge Avenger in the right rear quarter. The driver of the Avenger was transported to Prairie Lakes Healthcare System with minor injuries. Fire crews remained on scene for a short time assisting with cleanup of debris.
