[ARCHIVED] Kemp Ave. Two-Way Conversion

Watertown Street Department

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Contact: Rob Beynon, Street Superintendent

The Watertown Street Department would like to remind drivers that weather permitting, Kemp Ave from 3rd St. W. to Hwy. 81 will be converted from a one-way street to a two-way street on September 13th, 2018. Starting at 8 AM, this roadway will be chip sealed, striped, and signed. This process will take several hours. On this day, we ask that you do NOT park on this stretch of roadway.

During this conversion, there will be 4-way stops installed at the intersections of Broadway St. & Kemp Ave., Maple St. & Kemp Ave., and 2nd St. E. & Kemp Ave. A two-way stop will be installed at the intersection of Hwy. 81 & Kemp Ave., stopping east and westbound traffic.

Due to the unfamiliarity, we ask that everyone use caution during travel on this converted section of roadway.

If you have any questions, please contact the Watertown Street Department at 882-6207.

Thank You,

Rob Beynon

Street Superintendent
