The 13th Annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 7th at the Watertown Police Department from 6 – 9 pm.
National Night Out began in 1984 in an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities and police – community partnerships. The event is held the first Tuesday in August across the nation.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Event begins – 6 PM
Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) food between 6 – 8 PM
Party of Five Band plays between 6 – 8 PM
Police K9 Presentation – 7:15 pm
Chamber of Commerce Ice Cream Treat – 8 PM
Target back to school supply prizes ping pong ball drop – 8 PM
Municipal Band – 8:15 – 9 PM
► Lions Van will be collecting old glasses.
► Salvation Army will be collecting donations of boxed dinners (Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, etc.)
► Technicolor will be selling “Support the Blue” shirts.
► Over 40 displays will be on hand.
► Masonic Lodge Concord 13 of Watertown will be providing free child identification fingerprinting, dental impressions and DNA samples for children. All children must be accompanied by a parent.
