On 01/04/2017, the Watertown Police Department took a report of a residential burglary that occurred in the 300 block of E Kemp Avenue. A residence was entered and property was stolen. Additionally, property inside the common area of the apartment building was intentionally damaged.

Mr. Derek Arndt was identified as the suspect. He was located and stolen property was recovered. Arndt was arrested for the above charges and transported to the Codington County Detention Center.
