Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a 2 vehicle accident in the southbound lane of I-29 and mile marker 170 on 12/5/17 at 9:33 am.  On scene WFR personnel found a 2013 Audi in the outside lane of I-29 with heavy front end damage and a 1999 Chevy Tahoe in the median with rear end damage.  WFR crews along with Performance Towing cleaned up an extensive amount of debris from the roadway.  WFR transported 2 individuals from the accident to Prairie Lakes Healthcare System with minor injuries.  WFR would like to remind motorists to give yourself extra time use caution when driving during icy conditions.
